Anacrusis Chamber Group is presenting Muzikarti, a chamber music and theatre event at St James Centre for Creativity, Valletta on Friday at 8 p.m.

The programme will include a wide range of music, from baroque to contemporary, including a premiere, all of which will be performed by young upcoming musicians.

The recital will feature Mario Buhagiar on cello, Maria Zahra on bassoon, Alexander Vella Gregory on piano, and Robert Calleja and Andre Paul Huber playing the flute, as well as soprano Dorothy Baldacchino.

The evening will be enhanced with a young actress, Olwyn Jo Saliba, who will, through movement, explore the links between all the seemingly disparate pieces of music.

Tickets can be bought at Lm2.50, students and senior citizens Lm2, from St James by phoning 2122 3216, 21223200; boxoffice@sjcav.org
