Drama and story telling among summer club activities

More than 130 boys and girls attended the Don Bosco Summer Club organised by the Don Bosco Oratory of Victoria during July and August.

The club, held on three days each week, came to an end with a Mass celebrated by the Bishop of Gozo, Mgr Nikol Cauchi, in the Oratory chapel. The club was led by a number of volunteers who animated the activities which included drama, sports, crafts, story telling and religious activities.

On the last day, a variety show featuring items learnt by the children during the summer club was held on the Oratory stage for which the parents and families of the children were invited.

An exhibition of crafts made by the children was also put up. The activity came to an end with a pizza party for all those present.
