Carlsberg Tournament
Hibernians recorded their first win in the Carlsberg Tournament after they beat Pietà Hotspurs 2-0 yesterday. Roderick Baldacchino (17) and Terence Scerri (46) scored the goals that enabled the Paolites to join Valletta on top of the standings with four points. The Citizens were held to a 0-0 draw by Msida who had goalkeeper Omar Borg dismissed on 75 minutes.
Tomorrow's final matches- 6 p.m. Msida SJ vs Pietà H.; 8 p.m. Hibernians vs Valletta. Standings - Valletta, Hibs 4 points; Msida 1; Pietà 0.
