2004 telephone directory

My company has always used the same telephone number and address for many years and they were always entered in previous telephone directories.

When we received the telephone directory for 2003 I was very disappointed and angry to note that my company name and telephone number were not listed in the directory. I called Maltacom regarding this ommission. I was told that if I wanted my name and telephone number to be entered in the directory I had to apply for an extra entry against payment. Fine, agreed.

On December 19, 2003 I filled a booking order form supplied by Newsworks Maltacom with all the requested details for the extra entry of my name and telephone number in the 2004 telephone directory. I sent this form to Newsworks Ltd, Maltacom together with a cheque for Lm5.75 as requested. Confirmation of my extra entry and the receipt of my cheque were received.

Once again, my name and telephone number have been left out of the 2004 directory. For all my acquaintances I am gone.

I may add that the monthly telephone bills are on my name. Maltacom should not know that I exist. I cannot fill in my telephone number on any official or private document because my telephone number is not in the directory so it cannot be checked.

Eight months have passed since I sent the booking order form for my extra entry and I am still waiting for some positive action from Maltacom to satisfy me in this unfortunate matter.
