Citadel Insurance plc is announcing a bonus declaration of 5% to all its policyholders as at December 31, 2003, on the PERLA Protection Plan policies. This bonus declaration exceeds the minimum guaranteed bonus rate of 4.5% per annum offered under the Protection Plan policy.

Despite the volatility of the international investment market and low interest rates experienced during the past years, Citadel managed to maintain a consistent attractive bonus declaration since the launch of the Protection Plan in 1998. Furthermore, Citadel's prudent investment strategy has enabled the company to declare superior bonus rates which are well above the competitors' bonus declarations and the plan's guaranteed bonus rate of 4.5%.

The PERLA Protection Plan is a flexible savings investments plan offering a guaranteed return. This policy is designed to cater for individual needs. For as little as 35c per day, the PERLA Protection Plan will give the customer the additional income required in the future.

The PERLA range of life and investment policies includes unit-linked retirement plans and unit-linked junior plans. Furthermore, Citadel offers conventional life assurance policies, which can be acquired as a collateral for a bank loan or an overdraft facility.

Backed by a fully dedicated life team, Citadel provides a high quality and exceptional service standard, together with a friendly environment, for probably the best products at competitive terms and rates.
