Suncrest Hotel appointments

The Suncrest Hotel in Qawra has announced two new appointments.

Karl Schranz has been appointed assistant food and beverage manager.

He joined the company in 2001 as a receptionist while reading for a degree in tourism management. He also completed a three-and-a-half-year course in hotel administration at the Institute of Tourism Studies, followed by an international internship at the exclusive Sloan Club in London. Following the successful completion of his studies and before his recent appointment, Mr Schranz was junior manager in the rooms division department.

Sylvia Incorvaja has been promoted to food and beverage coordinator. She joined the hotel's food and beverage department in 1988.
