The 16 finalists for the Junior Malta Song for Europe Festival will be chosen from 50 entries on Wednesday and announced immediately afterwards at the Golden Tulip Vivaldi Hotel, in St Julians.

The festival is being held in the university's Sir Temi Zammit Hall on September 24 and the winner will go on to represent Malta in the Junior Eurovision Song Festival being held at Lillehammer, Norway on November 20.
