Six days a week all year round, a truck carrying five tons of raw offal from the slaughterhouse drives across Malta on its way to Maghtab. Needless to say the sight of this truckload is disgusting and the stench completely unbearable. Maghtab is said to be a waste dump for domestic refuse. It is unbelievable to see that this kind of waste is dumped in free air instead of being destroyed.
