Five children were born to refugee mothers living in homes managed by the Emigrants Commission during the months of July and August, the Commission said yesterday.
The mothers are from Congo, Palestine, Somalia and Eritrea and have settled in various localities in Malta.
Up to now, 105 children have been born to refugees under the care of the Emigrants Commission. The Commission is appealing for donations to the parents of the children, who now need food, clothes and toiletries.
