Filed false report

A 27-year-old Ukrainian woman was yesterday given a one-year jail term suspended for three years for filing a false police report.

Inga Dergachova pleaded guilty to reporting her passport as lost on July 15 when it was not the case.

Police Inspector Raymond Aquilina prosecuted.
