British Airways' franchise partner GB Airways will be introducing one-way fares to London from August 6 starting from Lm35 excluding taxes.

The new fares allow customers to pick and choose flights according to their budget, combining different fares according to availability.

James Stagno Navarra, British Airways general manager in Malta, said: "We have now given customers the flexibility to book flights as they wish. Customers can decide whether to fly on quieter cheaper flights or on more busy services combining the two fares. Fares can also be combined with one-way fares in Club Europe (business class)".

All flights offer complimentary food and drink.

GB Airways announced a nine per cent increase in the number of passengers carried between London and Malta during April, May and June 2004 and a 10 per cent increase in the number of business passengers.

The airline is now operating 11 services a week from London Gatwick to Malta.
