New ambulance for society

The Gozo Branch of the Malta Red Cross Society, which takes an active role during various events by providing ambulance posts and first aid services, has purchased a new ambulance.

The branch is also active in providing first aid education to the public. But it depends on the contribution of volunteers who dedicate part of their free time to being of service to society.

The purchase of the ambulance was sponsored by Bank of Valletta, whose manager of the Victoria branch, Jack Thewma, praised the Malta Red Cross Society branch for the valuable work it performs for the community in Gozo.

Frank Farrugia, chairman of the Gozo Branch of the Malta Red Cross Society, expressed appreciation for the generous support by Bank of Valletta in the purchase of the ambulance.
