Important timing

Fireworks provide a spectacle of sound and colour, a kaleidoscopic background to traditional village festas. Timing is however of the essence to avoid a noisy nuisance, disturbing people in the afternoon and late night resting periods.

Therefore, the letting off of fireworks should be better organised, not to say restricted, to avoid unpleasant consequences of an otherwise beautiful activity.
