MTA calls for details on 2005 events

The Malta Tourism Authority has called on organisers of events and activities during 2005 to send in details as soon as possible. The MTA publishes the annual Malta Calendar of Events, currently the only extensive digest covering major events and activities taking place in the Maltese Islands throughout the year.

The calendar is distributed extensively, both locally and overseas. Preparations are currently being made for the 2005 edition. The activities and events may relate to the performing arts, sports, religious manifestations and fine art. Should actual dates as yet remain unknown, a tentative date or indicative period (e.g. "last week of June") will suffice.

Information should reach the MTA's head office at Auberge d'Italie, 229, Merchants Street, Valletta, by post, fax on 2291-5894 or, preferably, e-mail: coryse.naudi@visitmalta.com by next Saturday at the latest.
