A group of senior hospitality industry sales executives operating in the southern European region were so impressed with what the island has to offer that their leader promised they "will definitely return with clients".
Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort hosted the Rezidor SAS senior sales executives to a three-day familiarisation visit to Malta. The aim was to familiarise the executives with Malta as a destination as well as with the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort in St Julians and the new Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort and Spa in Golden Bay.
Olivier Jacquin, senior vice-president sales, Rezidor SAS Hospitality, and his sales team included eight professionals responsible for various market segments, including leisure and conference and incentive. The team enjoyed a full programme prepared by the management of the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort.
The Rezidor SAS sales team was very impressed with Malta and commented extensively about the rich culture and history of the island. At the end of the visit, Mr Jacquin said that "Malta is a superb destination and we will definitely return with clients. You have a great deal to offer and the value ratio is superb".
Winston J. Zahra, director of operations, Island Hotels Group, reiterated the group's commitment to promoting Malta as an ideal destination for leisure and business clients alike.
He said: "Malta has great potential to attract high yield visitors who, apart from enjoying our excellent climate, can also enjoy our island's unique culture and history. The visit by the top sales executives within the Rezidor SAS chain will go a long way to providing future business. As a group we will continue to do our utmost to promote Malta as a destination at every opportunity we have."
