Jobless dip below 8,000
In June 2004, there were 7,942 registered unemployed persons registered with the Employment and Training Corporation, the National Statistics Office said yesterday. Of these, 6,434 were males and 1,508 were females.
The figure represents a 162 decline over the preceding month and an increase of 704 compared to the same month last year.
