BoV Website wins award

Bank of Valletta'S Website was declared the overall winner in the third edition of the DataStream Malta Web Awards. The BoV Website was also declared the winner in the e-commerce category.

The Malta Web Awards were created and are organised by DataStream Limited. The idea behind the awards is to identify and honour those Websites which stand out in the local Internet market.

Bank of Valletta's Website forms an integral part of the bank's communication strategy and aims to improve the bank's link with shareholders, customers, employees and the community. It is also the portal to BoV's Internet Banking, Malta's first Internet banking site having two factor security to ensure seamless transaction execution between bank and customer.

Judging was made by an independent panel of experts based on eight criteria, namely content, structure, navigation and ease of use, visual design, functionality, interactivity, broadband suitability, professionalism and effectiveness and overall experience.
