A garden charity concert is being held at Villa Rihana, Bidnija at 8 p.m. today, the eighth concert of the International Summer Festival presented by the Stradivari Season.

It is being held in aid of the Malta Cancer Foundation.

The programme will include Cavalleria Rusticana in concert version featuring Malta Opera Company soloists and chorus; 14-year-old violinist David Ellul in Bach's Violin Concerto and piano virtuoso Panagiotis Trochopoulos, who will be showcasing works arranged by Horowitz and Volodos and displaying stunning piano technique.

James Grech and Alan Chircop, directors of the Stradivari Season, will entertain the audience, this time not with classical works but with themes from Schindler's List.
