Four classic plays by author Roald Dahl were performed by Year 8 students of St Edward's College's Middle School at an evening held at the college hall.

The Witches, The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Twits were produced throughout the evening. The control of lights, sound and backstage duties were also handled by the students themselves. The performances were directed and produced by the college drama teacher Jeremy de Maria with the help of many other Middle School staff members.

At the end of the evening, the headmaster, Anthony Saliba, congratulated the boys on their performance and underlined the college's firm belief in giving importance to the expressive arts as a means towards offering a complete education to all its students.
