Din l-Art Helwa is holding its annual dinner in the elegant and historic settings of San Anton Gardens on July 30.
The event, which has established itself firmly as one of the highlights of the mid-summer social calendar, is one of the major fund raising events of the heritage organisation and all proceeds are to be dedicated to its ongoing restoration projects for the many historic sites that Din l-Art Helwa now holds in guardianship for the nation.
Reservations for the evening can be obtained from Din l-Art Helwa at 133 Melita St, Valletta, (tel. 21 220358). Tickets are Lm12.50 per person for a four course dinner inclusive of wines and pre-dinner aperitifs will be served on the Palace Terrace between 8 and 8.30 p.m. when guests will await the arrival of President Eddie Fenech Adami and Mrs Fenech Adami who will be present for the dinner. Dress is lounge suit or smart casual (shirt and tie).
Dance music during the evening will be played by Frank Bonnici and his Quartet.
The Palace gardens have been made available to Din l-Art Helwa with the support of the President of Malta, the Minister of Rural Affairs and the Environment and the Environment and Landscapes Consortium Limited.
