Parking problems

Parking problems in Cottoner Avenue have increased considerably since a supermarket opened in the area. Nothing wrong with that.

But a resident in the street is literally taking up space by using his two cars and motorcycle so as not to let anyone park in front of his residence by parking in such a way as to take up four spaces instead of the two he is supposed to be occupying.

Calls to the local council have proved fruitless because the area does not have a "parking within the lines" zone. Wardens turn a blind eye to this situation as some of them are even seen passing by without taking action.
