Everyone at St Cecilia's Kindergarten in Attard was kept busy this term organising and (the little ones) taking part in annual events, such as Sports Day and the end of year concert which were both a great success. Sports Day was held in the grounds at St Edward's College on May 14.

All the children at St Cecilia's Kindergarten were encouraged to take part. The youngest children (two- to three-year-olds) imitated their teachers while standing on their spots, and took part in a series of keep fit exercises to music finally accompanied by some songs on tape played by Mrs J. Vella Bardon that incorporate words and physical exercises. On May 25, the annual school concert was held with every group presenting their favourite songs (top). The last presentation during the show was made by the five-year-olds, who all took part in Little Red Riding Hood. The school organised another outing for the children to Ta' Qali (below) and on June 21, a Thanksgiving Mass was held at Attard parish church, officiated by the parish priest, Fr Dione Cutajar. A school party later that week closed another year at St Cecilia's Kindergarten. This year another kindergarten will be opening in Tarxien, organising the same activities and events as its sister school in Attard.
