BURLÒ - ARTHUR. On the 36th anniversary of his demise. Fondly remembered by his wife Hilda, his children John, Marthese and Joe, in-laws and grandchildren.

CAMILLERI-FERRANTE. In loving memory of CORA on this, the first anniversary of her death. Always in our thoughts and prayers. Corinne, Michael and Nelly. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be said on Monday, July 26 at 6.45 p.m. at St Patrick's church, Sliema. The attendance of relatives and friends would be most appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

GRECH - CARMELINA née Ellul Sullivan. In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother on the 32nd anniversary of her death. Fondly remembered by her children and family. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be said today at 6 p.m. at Ta' Xbiex parish church.

MIFSUD - SEBASTIAN. In memory of a beloved father and grandfather on the 21st anniversary of his demise. Sadly missed by his son Vincent, daughter-in-law Nadya and grandson Duncan. May God grant him eternal rest. A prayer is kindly solicited.

Power Cuts

There will be no electricity on Monday between 8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. in Qormi in the following streets: Il-Helsien, Ir-Rebbiegha and Ir-Riegnu; and between 8 a.m. and noon in Birkirkara in Triq Sant' Antnin and parts of Triq Fleur De Lys.

On Tuesday between 8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. in Mdina in parts of Mdina, Santa Katerina, Id-Drama, Il-Lydda and San Edwardu streets and between 8 a.m. and noon in St Paul's Bay in Triq id-Duluri, Triq San Gwann il-Battista, Sqaq tax-Xama' and parts of Triq San Pawl streets.

Mayor Election

John Mary Brincat has been appointed mayor of Floriana for a period of three months because the council was unable to elect a mayor. It was also unable to elect the deputy mayor, the council said yesterday.

Ahmediyya Community

A selection of books and leaflets on Islam and other religion-related topics will be available on a stand which the Ahmediyya Community in Malta will be mounting at City Gate, Valletta, today and tomorrow.

Works Exhibition

An exhibition of works by the elderly people attending the St Paul's Bay day centre is being held at the centre in Parades Street between Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and 4 -8 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. The works include parchment work, ganutell, crochet, sewing, tapestry and paintings.

Closed to traffic

It-Telgha t'Alla w Ommu, limits of Naxxar, will be closed to downhill traffic on Monday between 6-11 a.m. and to uphill traffic on Tuesday from 3-5 a.m.
