Directive to nurses

The Union Haddiema Maghqudin has directed nursing aides and nurses to ignore any request or orders from members of the security division with the aim of verifying their attendance.

The union is protesting against nurses and nursing aides being supervised by members of the security division.

It said it agreed that there should be surveillance on the attendance of nursing aides at health centres and that discipline should be exercised by senior nursing staff.

It did not agree, however, that surveillance be carried out by members of the security division.
