Two men were fined and banned from driving for seriously injuring others due to their reckless driving.
Magistrate Giovanni Grixti fined 19-year-old Daniel Spiteri of Zejtun Lm250 for seriously injuring Conrad Bugeja and Marija Yanika Micallef when he crashed into their stationary car.
Spiteri was also found guilty of reckless driving and damaging Bugeja's car and Anthony Micallef's car in Zejtun on February 15, 2003.
In a separate case Anglu Seychell, 67, of Zejtun was fined Lm60 for seriously injuring Lorenza Seychell when he crashed into her car while she was waiting for the traffic lights to turn green in Ghaxaq on March 12, 2003.
Josianne Carabott, who was driving a separate car, was cleared of injuring Lorenza Seychell. Both Spiteri and Anglu Seychell were banned from driving for 15 days.
