Two separate faults on Tuesday caused the electricity service to be temporarily disrupted in parts of St Julians and in parts of Marsa industrial estate, Enemalta said. At St Julians, the fault occurred at about 11.40 a.m. and was due to an internal electrical fault in a hotel.

In the case of Marsa industrial estate the interruption occurred at 8.35 p.m. and was due to a fault in a local substation supplying the estate.

Immediate steps were taken by Enemalta Corporation to restore power.
