Charged with injuring police

A 20-year-old man was yesterday charged with threatening, assaulting and slightly injuring two police officers.

Neil Attard pleaded not guilty to injuring Inspector Martin Sammut and pushing and injuring PS Martin Aguis on Sunday in St Julian's.

He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm600.
