I refer to the letter by Robert Agius, of Sliema who maintained that he expected the MLP to launch their MEP campaign to coincide with Malta's performance in the Eurovision Song Contest.

On my part, I too would have expected the PN to launch their campaign to coincide with Malta's performance in the song contest.

The sponsors of our aptly named entry to the contest - On Again... Off Again - could have included the PN policies on the women's vote, the vote at age 18, the pension schemes, May 1 celebrations, children's allowance, bonuses, their attitude towards the Chinese, towards the Russians, towards the Palestinians, towards Libya and Gaddafi, towards Air Malta (l-ghasafar tac-comb - birds made of lead)... the list is endless and certain to become longer in the very near future.
