Following the distribution of its 2004 telephone directory, Maltacom is urging subscribers to support its environmental cause and hand in their old directories for recycling.
The old directory collection kicks off tomorrow and on Sunday when collection vans will be stationed at strategic localities in towns and villages around Malta and Gozo.
In association with the project, Maltacom is launching a strong promotion campaign aimed at raising awareness and encouraging customers to participate. Fliers will be distributed on a door-to-door basis in the majority of towns and villages giving information about the schedule of collection by location and dates.
"We are determined to consign as many old directories as we can for recycling. We depend entirely on your full cooperation to achieve our environment-focused goal," a spokesman for Maltacom said.
In case of difficulties, enquires or complaints the public is invited to contact Maltacom on freephone 8007 2333.
