All the guest rooms at the Radisson SAS Bay Point Resort are undergoing refurbishment.

The resort opened its doors to its guests in May 1997 and in line with the group's policy of keeping all products looking new and fresh the decision was taken to invest just over Lm1 million in the refurbishment project.

The focus is centred on elegance, comfort, as well as respect for the environment.

A Maltese company, Design Source, represented by Carlo Schembri, has designed all new rooms, which are intended to create a fresh and warm atmosphere. Natural cherry wood furnishings and parquet flooring have been carefully selected to help guests work or relax in comfort.

Guest reactions to the new rooms have been excellent, the resort said.

"Through improved room comfort we hope to deliver a better product to our guests and meet their needs fully to ensure 100 per cent guest satisfaction at all times," general manager Raphael Cauchi said. He added that 150 rooms have already been completed and the rest will be finished by the end of October.
