Badger Karting new fleet launched at Ta' Qali

Badger Karting has invested in a new corporate fleet to further strengthen Badger as a leading leisure centre.

Speaking at the launch of the new fleet of karts Mr Edwin Gauci, general manager, said the new fleet is solely dedicated for corporate business clients and high calibre championshps since the karts boast incredible performance.

In fact the karts are equipped witha a honda four-stroke GX 270cc engine with a total output of 9hp reaching a maximun speed of 90km/h.

These Kombikart "lightning" karts have an innovative lightweight yet durable chassis and are equipped with hydaulic brakes matched up with a single twin ventilated disc for superior braking responsiveness cooling.

In it's fifth year of operations, Badger have embarked on an intensive campaign to attract a wide spectrum of businesses to make use of their premises.

"We have reached agreements with various language schools to hold regular activities for their students and we have struck agreements with some of the major tour operators to promote and sell karting events. Meanwhile a number of companies from the local industry have taken up corporate packages to enhance and promote staff integration and team building within their organisation in a leisurely approach," Mr Gauci said.

Farsons have branded six of the commercial karts with their popular beverage Kinnie, and have embarked on a summer long promotional campaign. Wands, through Budweiser, have branded four corporate karts, along with an Internet based campaign.

HSBC have branded one corporate kart; Go Mobile three; while Nestle Malta Ltd have reached an advertising agreement on our premises.

An imposing space frame has also been constructed over the kart pit, as well as the innovative steel advertising structure on our track by Steel Shape Co. Ltd who came up with the idea and will be assisting us in embellishing the track advertising spaces.

RMF Co. Ltd will shortly launch an educational campaign from Badger and Wurth will be sponsoring new racing jackets and a commercial kart.

Badger Karting is open in summer between Wednesday and Sunday from 7 to 8.30 p.m. for arrive and drive clients and from 8.30 p.m. to 1 a.m. for booked events. The track is open for pre- bookings only on Monday and Tuesday.
