Humiliating

Is it not humiliating that foreigners have to be taught Maltese to enable them to translate documents into our language?

Shameful, because this means that Maltese translators are unable to do the job because they don't know their own language.

This is strange indeed, because it is well known that we find learning foreign languages very easy, with most Maltese speaking two languages, and a remarkably large number being fluent in four or more.
