More illegal immigrants
Eleven illegal Somali immigrants were picked up at Marsaxlokk yesterday afternoon.
They arrived on a five-metre boat that was towed into the bay by a patrol boat of the Armed Forces of Malta.
The immigrants were then handed over to the police.
Earlier this week more than 70 illegal immigrants landed or were brought to shore by the AFM.
