A Cospicua woman was yesterday conditionally discharged for three years and fined Lm280 for stealing two cars.

Cecilia Mary Magro, 43, of British origin, pleaded guilty to stealing Raymond Seychell's car from the airport on March 1, 2003, and stealing Steven Camilleri's car from Birzebbuga on August 16, 2002. She also admitted to driving the cars without a licence or insurance cover.

Magistrate Lawrence Quintano, who presided the case, banned Magro from driving for a year.
