Young Maltese football players will again get the chance to meet and possibly train under the guidance of Manchester United defender Gary Neville just days after the end of EURO 2004 in Portugal.
Neville's seemingly ceaseless commitments, first with United, the 2004 FA Cup winners, and now with the English national team, have not prevented him from maintaining his annual appointment with Maltese youth football.
For the fourth successive year, Neville, one of the most experienced members in Sven-Goran Eriksson's squad, and his local collaborators have made plans to organise the Gary Neville Soccer Schools in Malta, this time at the Hibernians Ground.
The week between July 5 and 9 promises to be fun-filled football jamboree, featuring the usual giant inflatables, for the numerous youngsters who are expected to enroll with the school.
Boys and girls aged between six and 16 may apply to attend the Neville school.
Once again, Neville together with leading coaches Ray 'Zazu' Farrugia and Carmel Busuttil, will head a line-up of experienced and qualified instructors.
Training sessions will be held daily between 6 and 7.30 p.m. for the duration of the Neville Schools, beginning the day after the final of the European Championship in Portugal.
The participation fee of Lm35 entitles participants to receive a complete kit, a signed certificate of participation and an autograph book with all coaches' profiles.
