<i>FM Bronja</i>

May I express my thanks to all presenters of Radju FM Bronja who have now been given the axe by the powers-that-be (who think that it is more important to count pennies than to disseminate culture!).

I want to thank especially Joyce Guillaumier for the many series of programmes she has presented over the years, always in a truly professional manner, unpretentious yet highly informative, educational and entertaining at the same time.

How sad to realise that her familiar voice will no longer accompany my days, as it used to, thus helping to make my chores a little easier.

May I hope that her experience in broadcasting will be utilised by some other radio or TV station, seeing that PBS has closed down Bronja and thrown out its well-known and much appreciated presenters.
