A dazzling riot of colour meets the eye in an amazing collection of ceramics and paintings by the doyen of Maltese ceramists, Gabriel Caruana at Il Gattopardo Art Gallery and Bistro in Mdina.

In the latest bout of creativity, Caruana has come up with different themes and translucent glazes that turn the volcanic and marine hues into intriguing 'rainbows' that are as tranquil as they are turbulent, highly reminiscent of the inner fire that burns incessantly in the mind and heart of this artist whose affinity to mother nature knows few, if any bounds.

The display, which consists of 30 ceramics and several paintings, is open till the end of July.
