Seven held

Six men and a woman, whose ages range between 22 and 28, were arrested in two separate instances during a road block in the south of the island on Saturday by members of the Armed Forces of Malta.

In the first case, three men were found to be in possession of 12 pills suspected to be ecstasy. They were followed by the three other men and a woman who were found in possession of two pills, which were also suspected to be ecstasy.

The suspects and the pills were handed over to the Police Drug Squad for investigation.
