Malta coaches Bruno Di Pietrantonio and Val Drury have selected a 10-man squad for the ninth European Promotion Cup to be held in Andorra between June 7 and 12.

Ten teams are taking part in the tournament. Malta are in Group B along with Scotland, Wales, Albania and Luxembourg.

This year's Promotion Cup has added importance for Malta as a higher position than Scotland, Wales and Gibraltar will put the team in the qualifying round for the Commonwealth Games in Sydney.

Group A is made up of San Marino, Andorra, Gibraltar, Azerbaijan and Moldova.

Malta's squad: M. Naudi, E. Bezzina, O. Said, T. Riolo (all Pembroke); C. Sammut, A. Huizer (both Footwork), A. Micallef, D. Schembri (Siggiewi), D. Falzon, S. Cassar (Luxol).

Malta's Group B fixtures: Monday - Malta vs Scotland; Tuesday - Wales vs Malta; Wednesday - Malta vs Albania; Thursday - Luxembourg vs Malta; Saturday (June 12) - Play-offs.
