Songs from musicals for children's concert

No fewer than 23 songs from a huge variety of Broadway Musicals will be featured in the upcoming Stagecoach Malta children's concert.

Entitled the Stagecoach One Voice Mega Concert, the two-hour show will comprise tracks from Oliver, My Fair Lady, Joseph and His Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Phantom of the Opera and The Lion King, among others.

All Stagecoach students, aged between four and 16, will be participating in the event.

Overall musical direction is in the hands of Ruth Sammut Casingena.

"We strongly believe that if children are lucky enough to come to Stagecoach then they should put their talents to good use and help raise money for children who are not so lucky," said Stagecoach Malta senior principal Edward Mercieca.

The proceeds of the concert will be going to the Eden Foundation and the Daniel Delicata Memorial Association.

The concert will take place on Sunday and Monday at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, in Valletta at 7.30 p.m.
