Gina Lia, 28, of Bugibba was yesterday conditionally discharged for one year after she pleaded guilty to filing a false report with the police.

Lia had filed a false report against her boyfriend, who she claimed had robbed her of Lm1,500.

Inspector Joseph Mercieca prosecuted.

Dr Franco Debono appeared for Lia.
