A broadcast deal finalised late last week with Sky Sports will give the Malta GP wide exposure on Britain's leading sports television broadcaster - Sky Sports.
The agreement between KBL Powerboat Management Ltd, organisers, and Sky Sports will bring the entire 2004 season of the Powerboat P1 World Championship to the UK with highlight shows after each of the six rounds together with an end-of-season round up.
The Malta GP is being aired on Sky Sports 2 on June 7 at 6.30 p.m. with five repeat viewings scheduled. Nathan Knight, KBL managing director, confirmed that negotiations are at in an advanced stage to air the GP on German, Italian and French television.
"However, the deal with Sky, which will have an estimated nine million household viewing, is undoubtedly of great significance," Knight said.
