Cycling: Two stalwarts of Maltese cycling - Joseph Lanfranco and Paul Attard - were recently joined by a number of younger peers for a ride from Qormi to Pembroke on the occasion of their 70th birthday. Lanfranco and Attard started pedalling way back in the 50s and never abandoned their favourite sport. Both veterans are former Mosta CC members and helped to establish cycling as an organised sport on the islands. To mark the occasion, the Malta Cycling Federation presented trophies and other mementoes to Lanfranco and Attard in the presence of various friends and former club colleagues.
