Heritage Malta has introduced a multi-site ticket for Vittoriosa as part of its outreach programme, to coincide with the Caravaggio exhibition at the Caraffa Stores which is being supported by Heritage Malta.

The multi-site Vittoriosa ticket sells for Lm2.25 and gives visitors access to the Inquisitor's Palace, the Malta Maritime Museum and the Caravaggio Exhibition. The three sites are within walking distance of each other and visitors save a total of Lm1.75 on entrance fees.

The Malta Maritime Museum is housed in the former British Naval Bakery, a building which was erected in the mid-nineteenth century. The Museum boasts an impressive collection of maritime artefacts organised into thematic and chronological order from ancient times to British rule.

The Inquisitor's Palace is a gem of architectural brilliance dating back to the early 16th century which survived the blitz of World War II.

Situated in the heart of Vittoriosa, the palace served as civil law courts until 1571.

Three years later, the palace was given to Mgr Pietro Dusina as the first general inquisitor and apostolic delegate of the Maltese islands.

The palace underwent a number of transformations and by mid-18th century looked more like a typical Roman palace.

The multi-site Vittoriosa ticket is available from all Heritage Malta sites and is valid until the end of June.
