Two charged with theft

Eusebio Busuttil, 36 of Hamrun and Rodney Vella, 24 of Kalkara, were yesterday charged with stealing from Paul Polidano of Zejtun.

Vella was further charged with breaching a probation order and relapsing.

Busuttil was remanded in custody while Vella was granted bail against a personal guarantee of Lm500.

Dr Tonio Azzopardi appeared for Busuttil while Dr Joe Brincat appeared for Vella.

Inspectors Geoffrey Azzopardi and Johan Fenech prosecuted.
