A movable steel and canvas shelter for light aircraft has been built near Park 3 on the north side of Malta International Airport. It was imported from Big Top Shelters in the US, the same company which constructed the much larger shelter at the new super yacht facility at Malta Shipyards.

The shelter houses a Cessna Skyhawk-type aircraft.
