Managers are known, unfortunately, for the small number of poor decisions they make, rather than the majority of good ones. Decision-making is a key executive skill and a major component of problem solving as well as pro-active planning. How are decisions made? How do we solve problems? Being able to identify factors which will affect the decision, generating the different options we are faced with and finally being able to make the right choice are of great importance in today's business world.
This course is a one-day training programme which considers problem analysis, establishing objectives, recognising factors which constrain decisions, generating the best options, choosing and recommending the best course of action and implementing decisions and decision making styles. Anyone involved in the decision-making process in any type of organisation may wish to attend this programme.
