Kevin Purcell, 54, of Surrey, England, was yesterday fined Lm500 after he pleaded guilty to charges of driving a jet ski in a dangerous manner, injuring a two-and-a-half year old child and damaging a boat on Wednesday in Qawra.

Purcell also bound himself to make good for the damages he caused to the owners of the boat.

He was charged by Inspector Joseph Mercieca.
