Bank employees at investments seminar

Valletta Fund Management Limited (VFM) hosted seven Bank of Valletta employees to a seminar at the offices of Insight Investment Management (Global) Limited (Insight Investment) in London.

The seminar, entitled Insight into Insight, was organised with the prime objective of enhancing the knowledge on capital markets of key BOV staff responsible for the sale and promotion of VFM's range of investment funds. During their three-day visit to London, the employees were shown around Insight's offices and various departments and had the opportunity to meet with the fund managers responsible for VFM's funds who addressed them during a number of presentations.

The presentations were delivered by Danny Fox, investment adviser to the La Valette Euro Income Fund, La Valette Sterling Income Fund and La Valette Monthly Income Fund who spoke on bond markets.

Commenting on the trip, Charles Borg, VFM's general manager said: "This seminar was an excellent opportunity for BOV's staff to gain a first hand view of the way VFM's Funds are managed by Insight Investment Management in London.

This activity also ties in with other periodic seminars organised by VFM over the past years, where key investment advisers from Insight Investment are invited to Malta to deliver presentations to Valletta Fund Management's intermediaries in Malta".
