Lolly Borg honoured

Former Floriana FC player and coach, Lolly Borg, was recently honoured by the club nursery during an activity held at the Independence Arena. Borg, a key member of the famous Floriana Ajax side, gave a sterling contribution to the club both as a player and coach winning several honours. Nursery chairman Dr Hugh Peralta spoke about Borg's illustrious career. Borg thanked the nursery committee and urged the boys in green to be always disciplined as it was the basis of all success in sport. Floriana FC U-18 players Isaac Galea, Russell DeRaffaele and Lukain Brincat presented some mementoes to Borg.
